Bounty Island Resort is one of the largest coral islands off Nadi taking almost half an hour to walk around and has one of the nicest beaches of all the small coral islands in the Mamanucas. The absolute beachfront bures offer some of the most affordable private accommodation in the Mamanucas and are complete with hot water bathrooms and air-conditioning. Even the backpacker dorms are air-conditioned with hot water shared bathrooms making this one of the most comfortable island retreats in Fiji.

The island offers 48 acres of untouched land with tropical gardens surrounded by golden sandy beaches, clear pristine waters and a marine reserve that provides good snorkelling. Free activities include fish feeding, snorkelling equipment, kayaks, snorkelling equipment and windsurfers. Diving, parasailing, water skiing, island hopping and deep sea fishing can all be arranged. The island takes 30 minutes to stroll around, is surrounded by sand (part coral in places) and has wonderful views looking back onto the man island of Viti Levu and out onto the other smaller islands of the Mamanuca Group. Beachcombing is good with lots of small shells along the beach.
Beachfront Bures
These simple wooden and bamboo thatch roof bungalows are fully screened with private bathroom and are all absolute beachfront Each bungalow has ceramic tiled floors with a double bed (2 single beds can be squeezed in for children). Bathrooms are small with loo, sink and hot water shower Each bungalow has a wooden chair and table and hammock outside, leading onto the beach.
Dormitory
Located slightly back from the beach bungalows, this cement building features 10 small dorm rooms each with 4 double bunk beds and air-conditioning and two large dorm rooms catering mostly for organised groups. Guests use shared bathroom and shower facilities located each end of the building.
Around The Island
Bounty Island is a marine sanctuary in the Mamanucas – for this reason, there is an abundance of marine life and coral growth surrounding the island and snorkelling is good just 30 metres off the beach directly in front of the main resort area. Fishing is strictly prohibited within 400 meters off the island. There are rare (endangered) banded rails, parrots, white-eyes, honey suckers, herons and nesting turtles on the island.
