Caqalai Island Resort is a small coral island off Ovalau, surrounded by a beautiful lagoon with fantastic snorkelling. the beachfront is sandy and backed by coconut palms making this an exceptional place fr budget travellers to experience the South Seas experience but away from the well troden Yasawa backpacker trail..







Accommodation is either in a wooden lodge with dormitory beds, or in a small thatch bure along the beachfront. All accommodation share communal flush water toilets and cold water showers. Meals are served communually ion the dining area but no alcohol is served, so bring your own.

Getting to Caqalai island Resort is either from Suva, by catching a minibus to Waidalice Landing along the Viti Levu coast to catch the 10am boat to the island; or from Levuka Town, 30 minutes by boat. Both routes cost F$ 30 per person.
