Castaway Resort offers 25 Beach Bures, 12 Ocean View Bures, 28 Island Bures and one Family Beach Bure which is a duples bure connected by a longe area. Interiors are identical in layout for all room categories and offer a spacious open plan design with lounge area and two single beds and a screened master bedroom with king size bed and bathroom (shower only). The different price categories reflect location to beach - beach bures are absolute beachfront, ocean view are staggered behind the beachfront bures and island bures are set back in the tropical forest (room categories have different colour schemes).
There's fine dining as well as alfresco dining under the stars overlooking the water. Behind the bures is a landscaped swimming pool and tropical massage whilst the kids are kept busy in the daily Kids Club.
A private scuba diving outfit offers modern gear, PADI courses andf fast dive boats for easy access to some fantastic scuba diving sites. Catamarans, windsurfers, paddle boards and snorkelling equipment is complimentary with other paid activities including water skiing, banana boat rides, parasailing and private boat charters to explore the nearby islands.
Qalito Island, on which Castaway is the only resort, offers some pleasant hilltop hiking through light forests culminating in stunning views over Malolo island and to the outer mamannuca group. There are also several smaller beaches around the island to explore and make for good beachcombing.
