Garden Island Resort is primarily a dive resort with close access to the world renowned Rainbow Reef. Onsite scuba diving operator with full service PADI instruction courses, fast covered dive boats and all inclusive dive packages available. Also makes a convenient base for exploring Taveuni, notably the sliding rocks, blowholes and Lake Tagimaucia, all accessible along the south west coast. Two 4-bed dorms for budget travellers.

Garden Island Resort offers 28 air-conditioned rooms with ceiling fans, each with a queen and single bed or two double beds, with inter-connecting rooms available for groups or families. There's no beach and the lagoon offshore is shallow and rocky, but the views from the poolside overlooking the Somosomo Straights towards Vanua Levu are stunning, especially at sunset. Enjoy the afternoon on the white sandy beach of tiny Korolevu Island, ten minutes boat ride from the resort.
All dives are on the Rainbow Reef with the closest dive just 10-minutes by boat. Most diving is on shallow patch reefs, usually 10-22m with some challenging tidal currents. Dive sites are not suitable for snorkellers. Daily 2-tank dives depart at 8am and return at 1.00pm. Afternoon dives and night dives can be arranged with a minimum of 4 divers.
