Korovou Beach Resort is one of the more advanced and most commercial of the budget resorts in the Yasawas. Originally set out as an eco-retreat, the resort now boasts a swimming pool, private wooden bungalows with en-suite showers and lots of concrete paths. However, it remains one of the liveliest spots in the Yasawas with great evening entertainment with the focus around its huge wooden veranda overlooking the beach.

Korovou Resort is well organized and offers a reliable standard of service. Guests are offered a variety of accommodations from a large 32-bed dormitory with bunk beds to modern rooms and private bungalows with shared bathrooms and a row of eight Luxury bungalows each with private veranda and en-suite bathrooms (cold water only). Activities include kayaking, round island boat trips and village trips. Snorkel gear can be rented for F$5 per day and snorkelling trips to swim with the Manta Rays (May to Oct only) cost F$20 per person.

The beach at Korovou is picturesque with white sand but the lagoon is too shallow for snorkelling or swimming, especially at low tide when the water is barely ankle deep. There are several mountain trails, one of which leads 20 minutes to another protected bay with good snorkelling and swimming. There's a restaurant serving set meals, a small bar and nightly entertainment.
