Likuliku Lagoon Resort opened in April 2007 offering the first overwater bungalows in Fiji. This is a delightful couples only resort with fine detail in every aspect, a large landscaped swimming pool and a beautiful white sand beach. However, the lagoon is tidal meaning swimming is not practical and empties at low tide.

Accommodation is in two categories of beach bungalows - the deluxe pool villas differ in that they offer a private plunge pool. Both categories of beach bures offer very spacious living with traditional decor and thatch roofs and are set about 15 metres back from the beach amongst tropical trees and gardens. Bathrooms are particularly spacious.

The 10 overwater bungalows have similar spacious living with steps leading down to a sun deck beside the ocean. More steps lead into the lagoon which has great snorkelling at the reef drop-off. The overwater bungalows are set against the eastern hill abnout 40 metres from the shorline - it's a good five minute walk from here to the main restaurant.
