Navala Village is one of the most traditional in Fiji and certainly the most beautiful with over 200 thatch bures and no cement or corrugated iron homes. It is a living treasure, set amidst stunning mountains on the Ba River. About five minutes walk outside of the village is Balou's Retreat, a gorgeous homestay program set on the slopes overlooking the Ba River and with stunning mountain views. Balou's is your introduction to Navala Village and to the the stunning activities in the vicinity - billibili rafting, horseback riding and walking the mountain trails.



Accommodation is in either standard rooms with shared bathroom, located in the man house, or in delightful thatch bungalows with ceramic tiled floors and private bathroom. Meals are prepared by your hosts and served in the main house.
