The Outrigger on the Lagoon Fiji (part of the Hawaiian chain) offers a delightful traditional Fijian setting with fantastic views from the ocean rooms and delightful plantation style thatch roof bungalows in a wonderful garden setting. The beach is picturesque although the lagoon is too shallow for swimming or snorkelling. The focus here is the huge swimming pool with several restaurants and bars overlooking it. Outstanding service makes this an excellent choice for those looking for the large resort experience. Great for couples and families alike.

Modern air-conditioned ocean view hotel rooms are located on the top of the hill overlooking the plantation gardens. Rooms are spread over four floors in two wings, with the top two floors having a sweeping view of the ocean. All rooms are beautifully decorated with Satellite flat screen TV. The resort view rooms are located closer to the ocean facing the large central swimming pool and are located over two stories. All rooms are non-smoking and have card key access and security safe with daily servicing. Most rooms feature shower and bath tub.
Plantation Bures x 47
The traditional thatch roofed plantation bures come together in a style reminiscent of a traditional Fijian village. These open plan spacious bungalows are traditionally designed, and their vaulted ceilings are lined with exquisite hand-painted masi bark cloth. A unique feature of the bures is the Talai service - one butler for every five bungalows is at your call day and night. All bures are air-conditioned with a veranda with hammock. Bathrooms have shower only.
