Safari Beach Lodge is set on the gorgeous sweeping beach along the east side of Nananu-i-Ra island. The lovely sandy beach offers swimming, snorkelling and great beach strolls, but above all else, this side of the island enjoys good winds and is the best wind surfing and kite surfing location in Fiji (prime months May to October). Along with professional watersport guides, lessons for beginners and the best equipment for serious wind surfers, this is one of the best places in Fiji to get active on the water.

Safari Lodge offers windsurfing and kits surfing lessons for all levels with an excellent variety of boards and sails. Fully guided kayaking trips (including overnight options) are also offered as well as snorkelling trips to the exceptional outer coral reefs. Whether you're looking for a beach to relax or a variety of water sports, this is the place to hang out.

The Safari Lodge offers three private double bedrooms, all sharing a communal lounge and hot water bathroom. The lodge has quality furnishings, ceramic tiles and hand crafted wooden timber with a pleasant veranda where meals are served. Private beach bures offer open plan traditional style living with en-suite bathroom. All meals can be provided on request and offer good standards of local flavours. Alternatively, it is a five minute stroll to the tourist strip on the other side of the hill where several beachside restaurants can be found.
