Takalana Retreat is a secluded gem, hidden on the remote east coast of Viti Levu, perched on a hilltop overlooking the ocean and the island of Naigani and Ovalau. The lodge is two adjacent rooms, connected by a large balcony and dining area. Beach access is ten minutes down the hill and the traditional village of Nataleira is ten minutes walk along the coast. Activities include waterfall trek, hiking, village visits and the exciting Moon Reef boat trip for snorkelling and swimming with dolphins.
