Taveuni Island Resort is built on a fabulous hilltop setting with wonderful views overlooking the placid waters of the Somosomo Straits and the island of Vanua Levu on the horizon. With 13 luxury villas, this small resort offers fine living in a convenient location overlooking a pristine white sandy beach with snorkelling and close to scuba diving reefs of Rainbow Reef and the sightseeing attractions of Taveuni Island.

The pristine white sandy beach is accessed down steps (about 30 steps in all) and provides a public sweeping beach great for walking and a private cove beach with huge overhanging tropical trees giving absolute privacy. Kayaks and snorkelling gear are complimentary.

Ocean View Villas

These villas are set in expansive lawns surrounded by landscaped gardens. All villas have ocean views and similar interiors with a separate lounge and bedroom and both indoor and outdoor courtyard showers.

Ocean Front Villas

These villas are on the edge of the hill with wonderful unobstruted views of the sea. Each villa has a separate bedroom and lounge with day beds, spacious indoor bathroom and outdoor courtyard rock shower. These villas also have large wooden veranda's with fantastic views.

Villa Matalau

This large 2-bedroom villa has a massive lounge with a spacious ensuite bedroom on each end, both with an additional outdoor courtyard shower. The veranda has quality outdoor chairs with unobstruted views over the lawns to the ocean. There's also a private plunge pool with ocean views.
